Sarah Billet
Role: Mountain Kids -Assistant Director
Ministry background: Sarah’s background in discipling children with God’s Word started while she was working as a teacher at a Christian learning center 2002-2005. She graduated from Prairie Bible College in 2007 with a B.A. in Elementary Education and Religious Studies. She has worked with kids 0-14 in a variety of school and church situations, was even once an AWANA commander! In addition to kid’s ministry, she has also enjoyed being a part of various worship teams, led women’s Bible studies and a mentoring group.
Favorite things: people, going to epic adventure or battle flicks, hockey, reading a good “can’t-go-to-sleep-until-I’ve-finished” book, and most of all, “friendship. I don’t craft. I don’t make anything, actually.”
Interesting fact: “I like to chop wood. Very satisfying. I love disasters that make good memories, such as getting stuck in mud–or snow while driving on a frozen lake in northern Alberta–and spending a night homeless in Normandy, France.”
