Mike Simmons
Role: Men’s Ministry Leader
Ministry Background: Mike has been involved in many different Calvary churches over the years. He and his wife Cindy began to pray in 1991 that the Lord would send them away from the flourishing churches in California to help establish new churches elsewhere. They arrived in Utah in May of 1993. He has been involved at CMV with new believer groups, counseling, sound ministry, ushering, children’s church, Jr. high and high school groups, marriage home studies, and men’s ministry.
Family: Mike and wife Cindy met at Calvary West Covina in 1980. They have four adult children.
Favorite things: Serving and being discipled, hanging out with the family, long walks through the sage and aspen trees with a day pack and a rifle over his shoulder.
Interesting Fact: “if God wills, we will head off into the mission field after we retire…”
