Isaac Morton
Role: Elder, Home Fellowship Teacher, and Worship Leader
Ministry background: God called Isaac to ministry in 1997. He attended Calvary Chapel Bible college for two years and toured with a Christian band. After moving to SLC with his new wife, Suzie, they led the college group at Calvary Salt Lake and were a part of the worship ministry there. He also was involved in a church plant in Sugarhouse as an assistant to the pastor and a worship leader.
Family: Married to wife Suzie since 2000 and has 3 wonderful girls. Isaac is blessed to be part of the “Morton Vortex” and gets to attend CMV with both sisters, a brother-in-law, and his parents. “Chances are that I’m indirectly related to most people you’ll meet here, or I’ve worked with them or for them.”
Favorite things: Ministry, family, nerdy things, and shooting guns (at inanimate objects, not living things. A typical IT guy)
Interesting facts: “I’m fairly boring and an open book. If I do something unexpected it’s probably inappropriate. Just ask my wife or family.”
